Genuine leather. Real leather — not PVC, not fabric, not synthetic. Laser-engraved and cut from genuine leather, with the natural texture and character of the real material.
Activated heat adhesive. Each patch ships with activated heat adhesive on the back, ready for heat pressing. Proper equipment and technique required for application.
2.1mm thickness. Consistent, substantial leather thickness — enough to hold detail and sit well on the surface without curling.
Laser-engraved precision. Your logo cut directly into the leather with permanent clarity. Fine lines, tight type, complex marks — rendered exactly as submitted.

Application
These patches are designed for heat press application. Proper equipment and technique are required — we assume familiarity with heat pressing leather. Inexperienced users often damage the patches during installation. Because correct application depends on your equipment and settings, we do not provide installation training, machine settings, warranty, or replacements for the patches.

I love the hats. It was a great experience with the customization of my patch, the cattle ear tag. I had an idea and they brought it to life, after a couple of mock-ups. Also it is hard to beat a Richardson 112 hat. To me they are the best in the market now and have been for a few years. Also if you have a larger head like myself the XL is nice. I wear about a 7 1/2 in fitted cowboy hats. Or on a regular Richardson 112 im in the last 2 holes. So the XL size sure is a nice option. I will be ordering again in the future.

Custom leather patches are genuine leather pieces, laser-engraved with your logo and cut to shape, with activated heat adhesive on the back for heat press application. They ship without a hat — ready to apply to any hat, jacket, bag, or gear you already own.
How are the patches applied?
The patches come with activated heat adhesive and are designed for heat press application. Proper equipment and technique are required. We assume familiarity with heat pressing leather and do not provide installation training or machine settings.
How thick are the leather patches?
The leather is 2.1mm thick — substantial enough to hold detail and sit flat without curling.
Are the patches real leather?
Yes. Every patch is genuine leather — not PVC, not fabric, not synthetic. Each is laser-engraved and cut from genuine leather. Natural variations in texture and tone are characteristic of the real material.
Do the patches come with a warranty?
No. Proper heat press equipment and experience are required for correct application, and inexperienced users often damage the patches during installation. Because correct installation depends on your equipment and technique, we do not offer a warranty or replacements.
What patch formats, colors, and stitching are available?
Choose your patch format, leather color, and stitching (no stitching, black, or tan) during the customization process.
What logo file formats work for leather patch engraving?
JPG, PNG, SVG, and WEBP files are accepted (max 10MB). Vector files produce the sharpest results. Every file is reviewed before production.
