Shipping & Returns
Below are some common questions about shipping, returns, and exchanges
How long does customization take before shipping?
After you place an order, we send your proof/mockup within 2–24 business hours. Once you approve, standard production takes 2–7 business days before shipping.
Can I send my order to multiple addresses?
Yes! If you’d like to ship parts of your order to different locations, just leave the details in the order comments. We’ll follow up with a separate invoice for the additional shipping costs.
Can my order be rushed?
We offer rush production and expedited shipping options. Let us know your deadline, and we’ll do our best to meet it. Please note that additional charges may apply for both production and shipping.
Can I pick up my order?
Yes — if you're local, you're welcome to pick up your order. Just let us know ahead of time, and we’ll remove the shipping fee from your order.
What if I need my order by a certain date?
No problem—email us at support@leathering.co with your deadline right after checkout. We’ll confirm whether we can expedite production or shipping to meet your need.
Do you ship internationally and what about customs/duties?
Yes—we ship worldwide! International customers are responsible for any import fees, VAT, or customs charges. These vary by country and aren’t included in your order.

Can I request revisions to my mockup?
Absolutely. We include one free revision with unlimited mockups. If you’d like more adjustments after, it’s no extra fee—all part of our commitment to perfection.
Can I order just one hat?
Absolutely. Whether you need one, a few, or a hundred, we’ve got you covered.
Can I mix hat styles in a pack of 12, 50, or 100 hats?
Yes! You're free to mix any styles, colors, and quantities to any order quantity. Just add your preferences in the order comments section during checkout.
Can I choose different colors for my order?
Yes, you can mix and match as many hat or patch colors as you'd like. We make it easy to customize your order your way.
Can I use different leather patch colors in one order?
Yes, feel free to mix leather patch colors — there’s no minimum per color. For example, you can order one hat with a tan leather patch and others with black or any available option.
Can I preview my hat before ordering?
Yes! Use our Expert Mode to upload your logo and view unlimited mockups. We’ll only start production after you approve the final design.

Can I order patches only, without hats?
Yes, we offer patches only — with a minimum order of 12. Click here to get started.
Are the patches glued or sewn onto the hats?
Our patches are expertly applied by hand using our signature Leathering™ leather bond — a reliable, clean, and long-lasting method that’s been trusted for years.
Are the patches made with real leather?
Yes. We use only genuine leather — no substitutes, no shortcuts.
Do you offer patches in different colors?
Yes! In addition to our classic tones, we offer metallics like silver and copper, and a range of vibrant patch colors. A minimum of 50 hats is required for colorful or metallic patch orders.
What’s the difference between Richardson 112 and 115?
The Richardson 112 is a mid-profile trucker hat, while the Richardson 115 has a lower profile and a snugger fit. Both are high-quality — the choice depends on your preferred fit and style.
What is Expert Mode?
Expert Mode lets you upload your logo, preview it on a hat, and fine-tune your design before you place an order. It’s a great way to be sure everything looks perfect before we begin production.
Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it?
Yes, you can still make changes, like updating quantities, shipping details, or uploading your logo, before approving your mockup. Once you’ve approved the mockup or production begins, changes are no longer possible.
If you need to cancel, you can do so at any time before the order ships. A 20% cancellation fee applies to all orders, and a higher percentage may be deducted if production has already started. No refunds are available once a custom item is finished.
All custom products are final sale and non-returnable unless they are defective or don’t match your approved art proof. If there’s an issue, contact us within 15 days of delivery so we can help make it right.
Do you offer different patch attachment methods?
We use our signature Leathering™ leather bond—a hand‑applied, durable adhesive that keeps your patch secure without stitching through the hat.
