  1. Temperature Setting: Adjust your press to a stable temperature of 300 degrees Fahrenheit. This optimal temperature ensures effective adhesion without damaging the hat material.

  2. Pressure Application: Utilize a medium pressure setting. This level of pressure is crucial for a uniform bond while protecting the integrity of the hat and patch.

  3. Pressing Duration: Carefully press the hat for a duration of 30 to 45 seconds. This time frame is ideal for achieving a secure bond between the patch and the hat.

  4. Preparation of the Hat: Before pressing, make sure to flip out the sweatband. This step is essential to provide an even surface for pressing and to prevent any damage to the sweatband.

  5. Pre-Press Consideration: Depending on your specific heat press model, it may be beneficial to pre-press the hat for a few seconds. This preliminary step helps to preheat the hat, ensuring a more effective bonding process when applying the patch.
